Snorkeling tours for adults and children Accommodation in apartment (Minimum 2 people - price per person) The price includes: • Weekly self-catering accommodation in apartment (2-3 bed-room, bathroom, kitchen and terrace); • 3 rib-boat excursions in the splendid Orosei' Gulf discovering some of the hidden gems along this coast line: small caves with stalactites, emerald green sea with glowing reflections, accompanied by our PADI guides who will take you exploring with masks and fins the mysteries of the Mediterranean fauna and flora. For the more adventurous we offer you a really special snorkeling experience..... in total contact with the magic of nature!

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Arrival. Pick up can be arranged in Olbia if buses are not running.
Arrival in Cala Gonone and settle in to apartment. Introduction to Cala Gonone and facilities, check-out equipment.
Day 2: Snorkeling and Boat trip: North direction from Cala Gonone to Cala Cartoe - We leave at 8.30-9.00 and we go along the coast by boat or rib-boat and we will stop in a nice area to do the snorkeling.
Introduction to snorkeling technique (when needed); We will be back to Cala Gonone between 12-13
Day 3: Snorkeling and Boat trip. Snorkeling and boat trip from South direction. In this area we have several itinerary and we will do 2/3 days of excursions exploring always a different part of the area
(Scoglio dei Marangoni-Canalone). Back to Cala Gonone by lunch time 12.30-13.00
Day 4: Snorkeling and Boat trip from Cala Gonone to South (Cala Sisine - Grotta Smeralda). We will stop several times along the coast for snorkeling but also to explore some wonderful little caves with stalactites. We will be back to Cala Gonone between 12.30-13.00
Day 5: Snorkeling and Boat trip from Cala Gonone to South (Grotta del Marinaio or Porticciolo). This is another area where it is very nice do snorkeling This open and nice cave with wonderful blue water color.
We will be back to Cala Gonone between 12.30-13:00.
Day 6: Free day. In this day we can organize a beautiful Long Distance Snorkeling excursion of half or full day going very far in the South until Capo Monte Santo, with a stop in Venere's pools and other nice little corner to explore. This is an extra excursion at extra cost. Minimum number is required
Day 7: Free day. We can offer you another excursions like scuba diving or sailing (minimum number is required) and we will provide tips and shopping advice (typical Sardinian souvenirs and food)
Day 8: Departure - check out 10.00
The days of the excursions can be changed in accordance with weather conditions. The use of boat or rib-boat depends on the number of people that participate to the activity.

 

How this tour helps the local community or project

We are trying to promote a different approach to the area, showcasing the natural environment of the Gulf while always keeping in mind the impact of our actions on the environment & community. We want to provide a positive example of Responsible Tourism and influence future developments

We support the local economy by using small private apartments or "Agritourism" owned by local families. We always advise our guests to support local shops, farms and services (buying food, restaurants etc.). We always travel in small groups in order to give people the possibility to experience Sardinia in a relaxing way, without rushing from place to place.
By travelling in a small group we are able to talk our guests about environmental concerns such as our strict 'leave no trace' policy. As a company we recycle waste, try to reduce our water, plastic and energy usage, share cars, and all our boats are no-smoking areas (avoids butts in the water, promotes good health).

In cooperation with PADI, we organize an annual 'Beach clean-up' event to awaken the local community to environmental problems, and together with DAN, we supporting a campaign about the security of the divers in the water.
